Is Kelly Rowland Expecting Her First Child?

Does Kelly Rowland have new reason to be jumpin’, jumpin’, jumpin’ for joy?

The singer and her new husband Tim Weatherspoon seem to be expecting their first child, based on an Instagram photo the singer posted Tuesday evening.

“I’ll be stuntin like my daddy…” Rowland captioned a photo of Air Jordans with a matching infant pair alongside.

Weeks after tying the knot, the couple were spotted at Bel Bambini in West Hollywood on May 27, shopping for baby buys.

Clad in boyfriend jeans, sunglasses and a baggy white tee, Rowland, 33, and Witherspoon “checked out the furniture and strollers on the second floor and walked around downstairs,” an onlooker says.

The couple continue to be very private about their personal life. Not only are they staying mum on pending parenthood, but they kept much of their intimate wedding ceremony in Costa Rica under wraps.

“Kelly was really happy,” a source said of the nuptials. “It was a great break for everybody from the normal grind, but now they’re all going back to work.”

Although she’s staying mum on the subject of her pregnancy officially, Kelly Rowland seems to be saying a whole lot via social media.

Her latest offering? A bump-revealing photo of herself doing prenatal yoga, which the newly-married singer posted Thursday on Facebook and Instagram.

Clearly, the mom-to-be is at peace with sharing her baby news directly with her fans.

Last week, Rowland, 33, posted an Instagram photo of two pairs of Air Jordans — one adult and one pint-sized — with the caption “I’ll be stuntin like my daddy…” to announce her good news.

The couple were also spotted buying baby gear at Bel Bambini in West Hollywood, Calif. not long after their intimate wedding ceremony.

One thing’s for sure, Rowland seems way too excited for the littlest Destiny’s Child‘s arrival to keep him or her completely under wraps!

Life’s a beach for Kelly Rowland — and her bump, too!

The mom-to-be took to Instagram on Saturday to share fun photos of her growing baby belly at the beach.

And the beautiful backdrop was almost as stunning as Rowland’s gorgeous glow.

Dressed in denim cut-offs, a black bikini top and a matching mesh top, the former X Factor judge was all smiles as she stood on the sandy shoreline.

Although she has yet to officially confirm the pregnancy, Rowland, 33, who is expecting her first child with newlywed husband Tim Weatherspoon, is letting social media work its magic.

After sharing a photo of both big and mini Air Jordans on Instagram, she recently posted a picture of herself doing prenatal yoga — with her bare bump on full display.

But a baby on the way isn’t the only thing the couple have been celebrating! In May, Rowland and Weatherspoon tied the knot during an intimate ceremony in Costa Rica.

How Kelly Rowland Is Staying in Shape While Pregnant

Kelly Rowland is having no trouble finding her motivation to stay fit during her pregnancy.

“Her number one concern is just to be healthy for her baby,” her trainer, Jeanette Jenkins, told PEOPLE at a party celebrating the 100th birthday of American icon Jack LaLanne in Los Angeles on Thursday. “She’s going to be the most incredible mom.”

Jenkins says the mother-to-be has been maintaining a regular workout schedule.

“We work out Monday through Friday, but we just keep it at a moderate level,” says Jenkins. “We stay within her doctor’s guidelines and work out anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour so it’s not anything exorbitant.”

She adds, “We do cardio, we do yoga and we do light weight training.”

Plus Rowland, 33, has been incorporating meditation as part of her prenatal routine (which the singer shared a belly-baring photo of herself enjoying on her Facebook page).

When it comes time for Rowland to welcome her new little bundle with husband Tim Weatherspoon, Jenkins has no doubt that the former X-Factor judge will be able to bounce back to her pre-baby body quickly.

“We’ll make sure she gets those sexy abs back as soon as the baby comes out!” jokes Jenkins.

Kelly Rowland‘s baby on the way really is destiny’s child.

“It was a surprise, I can definitely tell you that,” the expectant mom told PEOPLE while promoting Caress body wash in Los Angeles on Wednesday. “It was a great surprise!”

The singer, 33, is expecting her first child with husband Tim Weatherspoon and said her pregnancy has been relatively easy. “I had no morning sickness,” Rowland said. “I feel great.”

Though Rowland said she’s had a “go with the flow” attitude when it comes to her changing body, she did admit it’s been a real adjustment.

“The most shocking thing about pregnancy to me is probably the way your body changes — nobody can prepare you for that. Not a book, not anything,” she said. “You just go through it.”

Rowland has also developed a very specific pregnancy craving: sandwiches!

“I love sandwiches right now,” said the mom-to-be, noting she has been sticking to a healthy diet overall. “I’m reading these different books and they’re telling me what food is really great for the baby, to grow their nervous system, and their brain food and all that, so I’ve been trying to stay on that.”

Rowland, who accidentally revealed she’s having a boy during an interview with FOX411 on Thursday, said she and Weatherspoon already have a name picked out.

“The dad picked out the name. It has to do with family,” she hinted.

As for what she’s most looking forward to about motherhood, Rowland can’t wait for one special moment.

“When I see the baby’s face,” she said. “That’s it.”

Before Beyoncé had a moment with her loved ones on stage, Kelly Rowland (and her bump!) ruled the red carpet.

The mom-to-be embraced her belly as she arrived to Sunday’s VMAs in a blush-colored Kaufmanfranco halter dress, which she accessorized with stunning interlocking earrings from Lorraine Schwartz and brown diamond bangles.

Rowland, 33, complemented her sparkly sequined ensemble with a braided updo and soft makeup, including a pretty pink lip.

The Destiny’s Child singer had been mostly mum about her pregnancy — up until she slipped during a recent interview and revealed she’s expecting a son with husband Tim Weatherspoon.

“The most shocking thing about pregnancy to me is probably the way your body changes — nobody can prepare you for that,” Rowland told PEOPLE in July.

Kelly Rowland Jokes She’s Getting Ready for Two Babies

$

Kelly Rowland isn’t expecting twins, but she is getting ready to take care of two baby boys.

The mom-to-be joked that the son she is expecting with husband Tim Weatherspoon isn’t the only one on the way.

“When the baby gets here, it’s not just one baby. I have two babies now,” Rowland told PEOPLE at the reveal of her namesake canteen bracelet timepiece from TW Steel in Beverly Hills. “My husband and the baby — you have to take care of both.”

But until the couple welcome their first child, it’s Weatherspoon who is doting on the pregnant singer — especially when it comes to her “crazy” craving for chocolate ice cream and peanut butter.

“I literally have a scoop, one scoop of chocolate ice cream and a teaspoon of peanut butter, and mix it all together,” she shares. “If I’m in the bed and I just really don’t feel like getting up, then he has been really wonderful at getting up and getting it for me.”

Rowland is giving her fans good glimpses of her baby belly by sharing snapshots of her workout routine on social media. But despite filling her Instagram feed with fitness photos, she insists she’s done her fair share of splurging.

“I feel wonderful. I think training is one of the best things that could ever happen to a woman while she’s pregnant,” Rowland says. “Yes, we have the green light to go when it comes to food and diet, but I just really think you give your body the foods that it needs.”

She adds with a laugh, “I do the 80/20 rule on my off season. And then I think with this one, I was like, ‘I’m going to have to push it to about 70/30, 60/40,’ because some things just sound so good when you’re pregnant.”

Since discovering she was expecting a baby, the singer has focused on maintaining a “very peaceful, happy pregnancy,” and hopes to carry on her happiness into her son’s childhood.

“You really have to take it one day at a time because everything can be so overwhelming. One thought trickles into another and you want to make sure that you’re not overwhelming yourself,” she says. “I don’t want no cortisol levels going up. I just want to keep it very serene and calm for myself — and definitely for the baby — because that’s the kind of environment I’d want to bring him up in.”

And it’s paying off in a big way: Rowland has been busy working on new music in the studio. “It’s been really exciting because I feel like I’m getting some inspiration from the baby, from life, from just being happy,” she shares.

“I’m so happy and I just really want that to come across in the music. I feel like as people we go through so much every day that it’s okay to be happy on records and it’s okay to talk about your journey to happiness.”

In addition to her music, Rowland has been collaborating with TW Steel to create a collection of custom watches.

“I feel like my watch really turns up my ensemble,” she says. “I feel like it’s not just about time as much as it is about style as well.”

And while her line with the brand began with the launch of two color variations — pink and blue — she’s eying her latest design, the special edition black version, for someone special.

“I just need TW Steel to make my baby a little watch,” she jokes. “I want him to have [the black one]. It’s just super fly.”

As for how quickly she’ll bounce back after baby? Rowland is planning on going with the flow — but admits the six-week rule might be a little too much.

“That’s a long time to be still, but of course I’m going to know when I need to just chill,” she explains. “I’m going to listen to my baby. I’m going to listen to myself, listen to my husband [and] just be smart.”

Kelly Rowland Poses Nude, Says a Woman’s Body ‘Should Be Celebrated’

Kelly Rowland hasn’t been shy about showing off her growing baby belly.

And now that the mom-to-be — who will welcome her first child “in a couple more weeks” — has taken it one step further and has dared to bare it all, she won’t be paying much attention to any backlash.

“It’s really — I won’t say amazing — it’s Godmazing watching your body carry a human,” the singer, 33, tells Elle.

“I took a birthing class and I was amazed by all the things this woman was saying to me about birthing and what the body does naturally. Why wouldn’t you want to celebrate that? The body should be celebrated.”

Despite her pregnancy, Rowland has continued to maintain her fit figure, which she shows off in the series of stunning portraits, by incorporating cardio, yoga and light weight training into her prenatal regimen.

“To be honest, I did modify my exercise routine a bit by just listening to my body. I would tell my trainer [Jeanette Jenkins], ‘This move doesn’t feel right,’ and we’d modify it,” she says. “I still walk two miles every day. I still work out. It’s important to me.”

Other than the occasional need for cherry pie, chocolate ice cream and peanut butter mixed together — and one week where she was “obsessed” with nachos — the expectant star is happy to stick to her healthy habits.

“It’s fine to have your cravings, but I wanted an easier delivery,” she explains. “All the women that I’ve talked to, that have worked out, have such an easy and speedy delivery. Exercise really helps that.”

She adds, “I like being able to have peaceful sleep at night, though there’s no such thing as that now in the last trimester.”

Just as she’s been flexible with her fitness, Rowland plans to “play it by ear” when it comes to parenting her son with husband Tim Weatherspoon — even if that means bringing along her baby boy to an event.

“Everybody has their normal and sometimes award shows are a part of that,” she says. “I have girlfriends who have that experience and they’ll say, ‘You know, I just really didn’t want to be without my child today.’ And it’s just that simple.”

Rowland is headed back to the studio for an upcoming project and has her eye on starting a boy’s clothing line. First and foremost, however, she’s most thrilled about starting a family with Weatherspoon.

“I’m excited to bring a child into the world, and sharing that experience with my husband is probably the most beautiful part,” she says.

Just call it destiny: Kelly Rowland is a mama!

The singer welcomed her first child with husband Tim Weatherspoon on Tuesday, Nov. 4, her rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.

Born at 1:30 p.m. PT, son Titan Jewell Weatherspoon weighed 7.5 lbs.

“We are thrilled to announce that today we are the proud parents of our first son,” the Talk a Good Game singer said in a statement.

“We are blessed to report everyone is healthy and happy!”

Throughout much of her pregnancy, the mom-to-be, 33, let her photos do the talking, posting a snapshot of big and mini Air Jordans in June with the caption, “I’ll be stuntin’ like my daddy.”

In July, Rowland confirmed she was expecting a son — and even dropped hints about her baby boy’s name.

“The dad picked out the name. It has to do with family,” Rowland, who showed off her baby belly at the VMAs in August, said.

But her biggest belly reveal came in October, when the proud expectant mama bared it all in a series of nude shots.

“I took a birthing class and I was amazed by all the things this woman was saying to me about birthing and what the body does naturally. Why wouldn’t you want to celebrate that?” she told Elle.

Now that she’s a new mom, Rowland is pulling double duty, caring for Titan Jewell and her newlywed husband. “When the baby gets here, it’s not just one baby. I have two babies now. My husband and the baby — you have to take care of both,” she joked to PEOPLE in September.

The birth of her son was music to Kelly Rowland‘s ears — and now fans can hear it for themselves.

Days after welcoming her son Titan Jewell, the proud new mama turned her baby bliss into a sweet lullaby, “Mommy’s Little Baby,” dedicated to her firstborn.

“I’ve waited all my life, all my life, to see ya, I’ve been dreaming, dreaming about you,” Rowland sings.

“I wondered what you would be like, you would be like, now I’m speechless.”

The new mama — who welcomed her son with husband Tim Weatherspoon on Nov. 4 — admits she’s fallen head over heels for her little guy.

“I have been completely on a high getting to know my son Titan. I’m so in love!” Rowland, 33, tells Essence.

Adding that she “could look at him 24 hours a day,” the singer says that Titan has also strengthened her faith.

“I don’t think we knew that much love existed for one human being,” she explains. “Now I know how God feels about us.”

Kelly Rowland Introduces Son Titan Jewell

Kelly Rowland is making sure to savor every moment with her 4-month-old son, Titan Jewell.

“The most surprising thing for me is how fast he is growing and how much joy he has given me,” the singer, 34, tells PEOPLE of her first child with husband Tim Weatherspoon.

Those little moments of joy have been especially meaningful for Rowland in the wake of her own mom’s unexpected death last December — just weeks after Titan was born in November.

“When he laughed for the first time, I cried,” says the former Destiny’s Child member, who debuts her baby boy on the cover of Essence magazine’s April issue.

“It was the most beautiful sound I’ve ever heard,” she adds.

Of course, it seems that the sound of Rowland’s voice is what baby Titan finds most beautiful. “He absolutely loves music and likes when we dance and sing with him,” says Rowland, who shares her new mom duties with manager Weatherspoon, 41.

“I have to say whatever ‘baby challenge’ you put in front of Tim, he passes it with flying colors,” says Rowland. “He is just the best dad!”

There is, though, one task Rowland is most proud of mastering. “I love putting him to bed,” she says. “I’ve gotten so good at it!”

Kelly Rowland Talks Play Dates with Beyoncé and Blue Ivy!

Kelly Rowland‘s newborn already has some famous friends.

The singer, 34, spilled the beans about new-mom lunch dates with her former Destiny’s Child band members — and they now involve their active little tots.

“Just the other day we were all able to sit down and have lunch together, and that always feels good,” Rowland said during an interview on the Meredith Vieira Show on Tuesday, also mentioning that her pal Beyoncé brought along 3-year-old Blue Ivy to play with her 4-month-old son Titan Jewell.

But she admitted that the catch-up sessions have quickly turned into toddler time. “Titan’s screaming and Blue is probably climbing something,” she joked to talk show host Meredith Vieira.

The old friends still manage to squeeze in some baby-free nights out on the town.

“I don’t want to describe those,” the R&B artist said with a laugh, referring to the group’s girl time. “But it’s a lot of fun. It’s way too much fun!”

The star also talked about how her friendships with Beyoncé, 33, and Michelle Williams, 34, have helped her get through a difficult time after the unexpected death of her mother Doris Rowland Garrison in December, just after her son’s birth.

“I’m so happy that I have the girls as just a great support system,” she said.

She also is grateful to have a new “angel” in her life during the roller coaster she calls the past few months: “I’m so blessed to have my son,” she said of Titan, whom she welcomed with husband Tim Weatherspoon in November. “I don’t think I’ve actually had the time to really, really grieve,” she said.

“Something that happened the other day was, Titan was laughing,” she recalled, describing her new son’s “belly-filled giggle.”

“I was like, ‘What is that?’ He’s looking up, and he’s smiling and laughing, and I was like, ‘That’s Mom.’ I just know she’s always here,” she explained.

Despite the difficult time, Rowland is embracing motherhood and soaking in all the ups along with the downs.

“The most surprising thing for me is how fast he is growing and how much joy he has given me,” she previously told PEOPLE.

What Does Kelly Rowland Refuse to Tolerate As a Mom?

$

Between bottle duty and diaper changes, Kelly Rowland has had her hands full since welcoming son Titan Jewell in November — but there’s one thing in particular the new mom doesn’t have time for.

“I don’t tolerate bulls— anymore,” the singer, 34, told PEOPLE Wednesday at Dreft’s #Amazinghood launch in N.Y.C.

“I don’t like to deal with it. As soon as somebody is negative, I definitely don’t want it around myself, but I really don’t want it around my child.”

The newly empowered mom — who celebrates her one-year anniversary with husband Tim Weatherspoon on Saturday — says she does make time for some star-studded play dates, though.

“All my girlfriends have babies, so they were like, ‘We’re waiting for you!’ Now I fit in, I guess,” says the Destiny’s Child alum, whose son gets ample play time with her pals’ kids, including Beyoncé‘s daughter Blue Ivy, Ciara‘s son Future ZahirSolange Knowles‘s son Julez and La La Anthony‘s son Kiyan, who “has learned to pick him up.”

When Titan’s not socializing, his proud mom says he’s learning to crawl, rolling over and even trying to talk.

“He’s trying to pronounce a ‘B.’ He’s doing this thing where he’s trying to get ‘bottle’ out, maybe? He’s just going ‘b-b-b-b-b-b’ with his lips together,” shares Rowland. “It’s so cute to watch him.”

Now that he’s on his way to making words, might we find Rowland’s 6-month-old son as a feature artist on her next record? (Beyoncé included her baby girl on “Blue,” and Future Zahir’s adorable coos and giggles are on Ciara’s new track “I Got You.”)

“We’ll see,” says the singer, who’s back in the studio recording. “He’s in the studio with me just listening to certain things. He pays attention to everything around him; he’s really excited about that, which I find intriguing for a baby. He really responds to music.”

As for Titan’s favorite tune? Rowland just might have a little rocker on her hands. “In my tummy, I remember playing [Guns N’ Roses’] ‘Welcome to the Jungle,’ and he seemed to move around a lot when I played that song.”

And the singer’s “amazing year” and expanding her family has inspired her songwriting “a lot — different story lines. I feel like it’s a new moment for me,” she explains, adding “I feel spoiled by God. I have a great husband, he’s a great father, and I love being a mom.”

She’s got a new show on the way and is working on a new record, but Kelly Rowland‘s primary focus is still her family.

“You make time for the things you want to make time for,” the singer — who welcomed son Titan Jewell in November with husband Tim Weatherspoon — told PEOPLE Saturday at her Samsung Galaxy Experience talk at the Essence Festival in New Orleans.

“I know Tim and Titan are the number one priority, then it’s music, and after that is everything else. My son and my husband are the greatest thing that happened to me.”

The Destiny’s Child star, 34, adds that finding a healthy work-life balance is a work in progress.

“It’s a lot,” says Rowland, whose BET reality series Chasing Destiny (in which she’ll assemble what she hopes will be the next smash girl group) is due later this year. “You get different advice from people, but I’m learning as I go.”

And the new mom is just enjoying the little moments as she watches her little man, now 8 months old, grow up.

“The other day, he takes my face and gives me a very drooly, open-mouth kiss,” recalls Rowland. “Drool is just running in my mouth, but it’s the sweetest thing ever because he loves his mama, and I love him back so much.”

Kelly Rowland Is Planning a Disney Theme for Son Titan’s First Halloween

For Kelly Rowland‘s first Halloween as a mother, she’s keeping things simple and focused on family.

“It’s all about having family time and this moment to really bond because everybody’s on the go now,” Rowland tells PEOPLE. “I think Halloween just gives you time to celebrate with the ones closest to you.”

This year’s costume theme is Disney. The Destiny’s Child singer is going as Minnie Mouse and hopes she’ll be able to convince her husband, Tim Weatherspoon, to put on some Mickey Mouse ears. Rowland is dressing up her 11-month-old son Titan Jewell as a skunk, à la Flower, the skunk from Bambi.

“I thought he would look so cute in his little skunk costume,” Rowland says about picking out her “little stinker’s” outfit this year. “We tried it on him the other day and he looked adorable.”

As of now, the plan is to have some friends who also have babies over to the house and to give the children some costumed playtime. However, Rowland says they might go for walk in The Grove later on, but nothing’s set in stone quite yet.

Halloween is an important holiday for Rowland. The 34-year-old recalls celebrating the night with her mom, shortly after they moved from Atlanta, Georgia to Texas, and admits the distraction helped her adjust to her new surroundings. That year, she dressed up as a cowgirl and went trick-or-treating in the community.

“When I got out and started going door to door and I met other children, I felt so much happier,” the “I Know What You Did Last Summer” singer tearfully shares.

“When you’re a kid and you’re moving to a new place and you meet others and they’re having a good time and smiling, it just makes it so much better for you.”

That first Halloween in Texas also showed Rowland how this spooky holiday could help strengthen a community, and that’s part of the reason why she’s working with M&M’s this year. This week, M&M’s and Rowland are setting up a pop-up shop in Newark, New Jersey, where they will distribute free costumes to families in the area. On Wednesday night, there will also be a free family fun zone.

“I’m working with M&M’s to help make Halloween safe and easier on the family,” Rowland explains. “I think Halloween just creates another memory for children … that they’ll be able to share when they get older.”

Speaking of getting older, Titan will celebrate his first birthday on Nov. 4. In the past year, he’s become a big music fan; it’s his main form of learning and his favorite song is “The Itsy Bitsy Spider.”

“It was a song his baby cousin sang to him when he was 2 days old, and to this day, he just stops whatever it is he’s doing and just stares and stares,” the Empire actress says. “It’s just really cute.”

For his upcoming birthday, Rowland and Weatherspoon are planning to keep things simple. They’re inviting family and friends over and are going to get little Titan a smash cake.

Kelly Rowland has her hands full — and she’s loving it.

The Destiny’s Child singer, 34, is currently guest starring on the smash hit TV show Empire and recently released her surprise single “Dumb,” but her favorite role is mom to her son Titan Jewell, who turns 1 on Thursday.

“I’m having a lot of fun with Titan,” Rowland says of her son’s first year, which she plans to celebrate at a “simple” party complete with “family, close friends, cake, ice cream, [and] tacos.”

The duo got an early start on the festivities last Thursday, taking adorable snaps while Rowland celebrated her first year of parenthood with Dreft in Los Angeles.

The singer says she’s been “using Dreft since before Titan was born,” adding, “My nesting started as soon as I found out I was pregnant. I was just so excited for him to come home.”

In the year since, Titan has been hitting all his major milestones — accomplishments Rowland and husband Tim Weatherspoon have cherished.

“He started walking three weeks ago,” shares Rowland. “We were all in the living room and he was going from one part of the couch to another to the point … so finally his dad put his arms out when he was walking away from the couch, and [Titan] just went for his walk. It was awesome.”

Rowland has been teaching her baby boy about the joys of reading — the mother-son duo enjoy “so many books together,” she tells PEOPLE — as well as her affinity for music.

“Oh my God, he loves the Bob Marley book!” she explains. “But he likes the part where I sing to him after. It’s really cool.”

Sure, fans were introduced to her singing “Say My Name,” but nowadays Rowland is busy busting out lullabies. The vocalist says Titan “loves when we’re playing music all through the house,” adding, “I’ll be glad when he gets his little two-step move down. That’s going to make me super excited.”

Rowland already knows she wants to expand her brood — but not by much! “One more. Just one more,” she says of having more children.

But don’t expect Titan to have a sibling anytime in the immediate future: “Not soon,” Rowland clarifies.

“I like the one-on-one time that we’re having right now,” she says. “His little stages that he’s going through with growing up have been pretty awesome, so I want it to be me, him and his dad for now. I like it.”

Kelly Rowland has some “Motivation” for all new new moms: Don’t stress over your body after baby.

“Write on your mirror in lipstick: ‘I had a baby. I’m a superhero,’ ” the singer says in the February issue of Parents.

Rowland, 33, welcomed 14-month-old son Titan Jewel with husband Tim Weatherspoon in November 2014. And while she’s got a full plate — between changing diapers, recording her upcoming album, and filming her forthcoming reality singing competition Chasing Destiny — the new mom still manages to find time for exercise. (Rowland’s go-tos are spinning and workouts with a trainer.)

“People think of exercise as tiring, but it actually gives you energy,” the “Dumb” singer explains.

But Rowland insists every new mother gets back into her fitness regimen at her own pace.

“It takes about a year to get the weight off. Don’t beat yourself up if it takes even longer,” she says.

While the Destiny’s Child star has had no problem embracing body positivity, there were some physical aspects of motherhood she initially struggled with.

After experiencing a low milk supply (a common issue with breast implants; Rowland has been open about her decision to go from an A to a B cup size in October 2007), the singer had to turn to formula to supplement her baby boy’s feedings.

“I had my heart set on breastfeeding, but I wasn’t producing enough milk,” she shares. “I got down on myself, which I think was mentally limiting my supply.”

Ups and downs aside, her family of three has made her complete. “Being a  mom just makes me feel whole,” Rowland says.
